李海波教授，东北大学

Dr. Haibo Li received his Ph.D (2002) and Master’s degree (1999) in Environmental Engineering from Northeastern University and B.S. (1996) in Mineral Processing Engineering form Hebei University of Science and Technology, Tangshan, China. He worked as a postdoctoral associate in Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences form 2003 to 2005 before joining Northeastern University. His research interests have focused on the preparation methods of engineering nanoparticles, nanoparticle applications in energy storage materials / catalytic degradation of emerging contaminants / advanced oxidation process with double reactive centers, environmental behaviors, fate and eco-toxicity of engineered nanoparticles, defense mechanisms of terrestrial plants / alga toward abiotic stresses. His group is also interested in wastewater eco-treatment, contaminated soil / water body sustainable remediation, non-point pollution control, bio-char function development based on quantum chemical computation.

李海波，工学博士，生物学博士后，教授，博士生导师，美国麻省大学（University of Massachusetts Amherst，UMass Amherst）访问学者。教育部新世纪优秀人才，辽宁省环境科学与工程专业教学指导委员会副主任，辽宁省生态学会副理事长，辽宁省高校优秀人才第一层次，沈阳市科技创新领军人才，沈阳市优秀科技工作者，东北大学优秀教师，辽宁省优秀硕士论文指导教师，辽宁省环保产业联盟水环境保护专家委员会委员，国际生态经济协会委员，沈阳市水务局科技顾问，沈阳市社会稳定风险评估专家。曾任教育部区域污染环境生态修复重点实验室副主任（2007-2013），辽宁省污染环境修复工程技术研究中心主任（2012-2015）。 研究方向：污水生态处理；污染环境绿色修复；环境功能材料设计、应用与毒理。
