袁东星教授，厦门大学（河口生态安全与环境健康福建省高校重点实验室学术委员会主任）

Dongxing Yuan graduated from  University of Iowa of USA and received Ph.D. degree in 1988. She is a researcher of State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science, Xiamen University, and a professor and doctoral supervisor of College of the Environment and Ecology, Xiamen University. She is Director of Academic Committee of Key Laboratory of Estuarine Ecological Safety and Environmental Health, Fujian Province University.

She served as Vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Marine Environment, member of the Environmental Chemistry Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, member of the Environmental Chemistry Committee of the Chinese Society of Environmental Science. Now she is an associate editor of the international journal Trends in Environmental Analytical Chemistry.

She is engaged in the teaching and research of environmental chemistry and environmental monitoring. Her main research fields are the study and development of on-site monitoring methods and corresponding instruments for physical and chemical parameters of the marine environment, the migration, transformation and fate of environmental pollutants, and the establishment and development of new techniques for environmental sample pretreatment. She has won some provincial and ministerial awards of science and technology, and the “Top Teacher Award” of Fujian province.

袁东星，1988年毕业于美国依阿华大学化学系，获博士学位。厦门大学近海海洋环境科学国家重点实验室研究人员、厦门大学环境与生态学院教授、博士生导师。河口生态安全与环境健康福建省高校重点实验室学术委员会主任;曾兼任中国海洋环境学会副理事长、中国化学会环境化学专业委员会委员、中国环科学会环境化学专业委员会委员，现兼任国际期刊《Trends in Environmental Analytical Chemistry》副主编。

长期从事环境化学、环境监测的教学和科研工作。主要科研领域为海洋环境理化参数现场监测方法及相应仪器研发、环境污染物的迁移转化及归宿研究、环境样品预处理新技术的建立与发展。曾获省部级科技进步奖和福建省教学名师奖。
